You're spending money on ads, but your landing page isn't doing its job

Desktop and mobile mockup of a failing landing page

Most landing pages fail for fixable reasons:

The headline doesn't grab attention

Your messaging doesn't speak to the real problems your customers have

Trust signals are missing or buried where no one sees them

The call-to-action is weak or unclear

The page is slow, cluttered, or breaks on mobile

You're asking visitors for too much, too soon

Every unfixed issue is costing you leads.
You just don't know which ones yet.

Generic headline wastes your best real estate

"Trusted by local motorists for more than 40 years" doesn't answer the buyer's question: Why you over the competition? Weak headlines mean visitors leave without understanding your value. Lead with what actually matters to them—e.g.: Lower prices, better finance rates or better warranty.

2

Search filters create unnecessary friction

Four dropdown menus (Make, Model, Price, Body Style) force decisions before visitors even know what's available. Decision fatigue kills momentum. Better: single search bar or "Browse all" button—lower the barrier to browsing.

3

Trust signals buried

For a £15k+ purchase, buyers need immediate proof you're legitimate. Your 4.8 Google rating is buried in a wall of text below the fold (most visitors won't read this). This is one of the most impactful elements on your landing page and should be front and centre.

4

Layout breaks on mobile

On common mobile and tablet screen sizes, the vehicle cards stack incorrectly. Most web traffic is mobile—fixing broken layouts means you stop losing half your potential enquiries to a poor experience.

Don't just take our word for it

Meticulous

I can thoroughly recommend Brad at Click Witted! He recently undertook an audit of our website and immediately understood the fixes and tweaks that needed to be made to improve customer experience. He made helpful suggestions to improve the performance of the website and had an excellent eye for detail.

He did an amazing job at restructuring our Shopify Store, completely understood the scope of the works needed and provided a comprehensive plan, which he then executed perfectly. Brad overcame all the technical hurdles that we experienced and was a pleasure to work with.

I would highly recommend Click Witted for any website redesign /SEO services that you're thinking of - Brad is excellent!

Frequently Asked Questions

Giant letters spelling FAQ with a Click Witted team member and a customer interacting around them, representing helpful answers and human support

What if the issues you find are expensive to fix?

We tell you which fixes are quick wins (copy changes, CTA tweaks) and which need technical help. You're not obligated to fix everything at once—or at all. Most clients start with the easy stuff first and see immediate improvement.

Do you only audit landing pages, or can you review my whole site?

This service is for a single landing page or homepage only. If you need a full site audit across multiple pages, that's a different scope—get in touch and we can discuss a custom quote.

Can I really fix most of this myself?

Around 60% of what we find are simple copy and content changes—headlines, CTA buttons, trust signals, form tweaks. If you have editing access to your site (Webflow, WordPress, Squarespace, etc.), you can handle these yourself. The other 40% might need a developer, but we'll tell you exactly what needs doing so you're not guessing or overpaying.

Do I need to give you admin access to my website?

No. Just send us the live URL after checkout. We review the page as a visitor would see it—no backend access needed, no login credentials required.

What types of landing pages do you audit?

Service businesses, lead gen pages, product pages, sales pages—anything designed to get visitors to take action. We focus on conversion issues (what's stopping people from enquiring, booking, or buying), not SEO or technical site performance.

How involved do I need to be during the project?

Not very. We handle the strategy, design, copy, and build. You'll need to give us some information about your business upfront and provide feedback at key stages — but we won't turn it into a second job. Most clients only spend a few hours across the whole project.

How does pricing work in practice?

Projects start from £3,750. The final figure depends on the scope — number of pages, design complexity, and whether any specific functionality is required. Scope and pricing are agreed before anything starts. Nothing changes once we begin.

What if I don't like the design?

We structure the project so you're never surprised by the final result. You'll see the direction early and have the opportunity to shape it along the way, before anything is finalised. We include two full rounds of revisions — so if something isn't right, we fix it.

What do you need from me to get started?

Not much. We start with a conversation to understand your business, your clients, and what the site needs to do. From there we handle structure, design, copy, and build. You'll review and approve at key stages — but we won't drown you in homework.

How long does a project take?

Most projects take 4–8 weeks from discovery to launch. That includes the initial conversation, design, copy, build, and testing. Timelines depend on the scope of the project and how quickly feedback is provided — but we keep the process tight and predictable.

Who will I be working with?

You’ll be working directly with me — Brad, the founder of Click Witted.

I handle all strategy and client communication myself, so you’re never passed off to a random team member or left chasing updates. You’ll get a reliable point of contact throughout your project and beyond.

That means clear communication, personal attention, and a partner who actually understands your business goals — not just someone ticking boxes.

What types of businesses do you work with?

We work with service-based businesses in the UK who are serious about growth, and ready to invest in a website that actually drives results.

Our customers are often frustrated with their current website or agency and want a reliable partner to handle everything—strategy, design, copy, SEO, and long-term support — so they can focus on running their business.

If that sounds like you, we’ll probably get on well.

How are you different from other web design companies?

We don’t just build pretty websites — we build strategic ones. Every site we create is tailored to your goals, your audience, and designed to drive results.

Unlike many designers, we don’t disappear after launch. We stick around to support, improve, and help your site grow with your business.

What if I don’t like the first design?

No problem—this is your site, after all. We structure projects with regular check-ins so you’ll see the progress and direction before anything gets too far.

Plus, we include two full rounds of revisions to make sure everything looks, feels, and functions just how you want it.

Is there a refund policy?

Absolutely. If you’re not happy, we don’t want your money. We offer a 60-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. Simple as that.

How long have you been in business?

Click Witted officially launched in 2024—but our founder Brad has been working in IT since 2014, helping small businesses solve real problems with technology.

Do you redesign existing websites?

Not exactly. We start from scratch—because it’s almost always easier (and better) to build something great from the ground up than to try fixing or reshaping someone else’s work.

A clean slate means a cleaner end result, and we can make sure every piece is purposeful, modern, and aligned with your goals.

Do you offer rush projects or faster timelines?

In short: good, cheap, fast—pick two. While we’ll always do our best to work around your schedule, we won’t rush the process at the cost of quality.

A website is a long-term investment and needs strategic thinking, not just speed. If you need something urgently, let’s talk—but we won’t cut corners just to hit a tighter deadline.

Can I transfer my site elsewhere?

The website is yours—you can move it to another host whenever you want. Just keep in mind you'll lose ongoing maintenance, updates, and support from us once it's transferred.

Are you a freelancer or agency?

Technically, neither. Click Witted is a small team of collaborators (designers, developers, and copywriters).

We’re not a big agency with bloated overheads, and we’re not a solo freelancer stretched thin — just a tight-knit, capable team focused on building websites that actually move the needle for your business.
